Learn from fake food artist, Mae Hirota from FAUX SWEETS ACADEMY for a hands-on Japanese food replica workshop! This special workshop is a partnership between FAUX SWEETS and True Food Kitchen, bringing together creativity, community, and delicious food. Participants can enjoy a hands-on crafting experience while ordering lunch directly from True Food Kitchen’s menu. Workshop Policy Hosted by: Mae Hirota Workshop Theme: Japanese Food Replica Making 1. Registration & Payment ・Advance registration is required for all participants. ・Seats are limited and confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. ・Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure a spot. ・Once payment is completed, you will receive a confirmation email with workshop details. 2. Age Requirement ・The standard workshop is recommended for ages 12 and up. ・Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 3. Cancellation & Refund Policy / Cancellations by participants: ・4+ days before the workshop: Full refund. ・1–3 days before the workshop: 50% refund. Credit towards another class. ・0–1 days before the workshop / No-show: Non-refundable. Cancellations by Faux Sweets: If the workshop must be rescheduled or canceled due to low enrollment, instructor illness, venue issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive a full refund or option to transfer to the next available session. 4. Workshop Start Time ・Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in and prepare your workspace. ・The class will begin promptly at the scheduled time. 5. Materials & Tools ・All materials, tools, and supplies required for the workshop are provided by Faux Sweets. ・Participants are responsible for using tools safely and following all instructions. ・Finished pieces may be taken home at the end of the workshop. 6. Safety & Liability ・Participants agree to follow all safety instructions provided by Mae Hirota and staff. ・Faux Sweets is not responsible for injuries that may occur due to misuse of tools or failure to follow safety guidelines. ・Please inform the instructor of any allergies or sensitivities (e.g., silicone, resin) prior to attending. 7. Photography & Media ・Faux Sweets and Mae Hirota may take photos or short video clips during the workshop for marketing or social media purposes. ・By attending, participants grant permission to use these images unless they request otherwise in advance. Participants are welcome to take photos and videos of their own work. 8. Personal Belongings ・Please keep valuables with you at all times. ・Faux Sweets is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items. 9. Conduct & Respect ・A positive, friendly atmosphere is expected. ・Disruptive behavior or harassment will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the workshop without refund.
